应用领域
作为饲料添加剂，主要用于禽类和母猪饲料。通常预混的质量分数为1%-2%。营养增补剂。按我国GB2760-90规定，可用于食品工业作为加工助剂。该品具有预防皮肤病、促进脂类代谢等生理功能。大量食用生蛋白可导致生物素缺乏。为羧化酶的辅酶，参与很多羧化反应，且是糖、蛋白质和脂肪中间代谢的一个重要辅酶作食品强化剂。可用于婴幼儿食品，使用量为0.1～0.4mg/kg，在饮液中为0.02～0.08mg/kg。可用于蛋白、抗原、抗体、核酸（DNA、RNA)等的标记
